Cancellation & No-Show Policy

I value your business, and I appreciate your cooperation. In accepting your appointment, all other requests for that time are refused, to value your time.

  • When you book your appointment, that time is set aside for you, and missed appointments prevents me from accommodating other clients. Please understand that I only get paid when I deliver a service.

  • 24-hour notice is required for all cancellations.

  • 50% Payment will be required for late cancellations or “no-shows” unless:

    • the appointment can be filled

    • it is an unforeseen last-minute cancellation (in which case fees due are to be determined on an individual basis)

  • If an emergency arises, please let me know as soon as possible so that I can treat your specific situation with attention. I recognize that there are circumstances that are out of your control (sudden illness, family emergencies, etc.) and I may make an exception to the above policies on those rare occasions.

  • Missed appointment fees are not eligible for direct billing or insurance compensation.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late to your appointment, I may not be able to treat for the length of time that was originally set for the treatment service booked. Payment will be required for the original service booked.

Ethics & Standards

Following the College of Massage Therapists of Newfoundland and Labrador, I promise to follow all standards and ethics that are outlined, including the following:

  • Assured confidentiality and safety standards are met

  • Practicing within scope of practice

  • Sanitary and prepared treatment space for every treatment

  • No hidden fees

  • Meeting treatment goals and providing self/home care support

  • Requiring consent for treatment

  • Explanation of treatment
